UNWRAPPING CHRISTMAS PRESENTS

Twas the morning of Christmas and the sun was not shining.
Me and Jared in bed could here the kids pining.
Santa had taken some red Christmas wrap,
and wrapped up the door where the presents were at.
The kids were going crazy they couldn't see in,
to where we all know Santa had been.
Now Jared and I had to climb out of bed,
we wondered into the kitchen like we woke from the dead.
We made the kids some hot chocolate to sip,
but all they could think about was red paper to rip.
We finally gave up and said ready.....set.....stop,
Then we made them do the bunny hop.
"Mom this is not funny we know Santas been here,
please oh please let us go in there!"
They busted through the paper and ran to the tree,
where they knew all their Christmas presents would be.
